The divestment has naturally progressed due to the generational shift that has taken place in the company over the recent year.
Ferrometall AS was founded in 2010 as a result of the merger between Trønderstål AS and Leadenhall Metals AS. Over time the original owners have sold shares in Ferrometall to two of the company’s key personnel, Vegard Holmen and Rune Humlebekk. Through the current transaction, Mr. Holmen and Mr. Humlebekk acquired a 40 % stake in Ferrometall AS from Leadenhall Metals Holding AS which brings their ownership stake in the company to 100 %.
