Corteco acquires Viking Entreprenør

Viking Entreprenør was founded in 2005 and is an experienced turnkey contractor specialising in brick, tile and complex concrete renovation. Its multidisciplinary team of professionals provides project management and expertise on all aspects of renovation projects.

While Eastern Norway remains Viking Entreprenør’s core market, the company’s specialisation in brick churches, concrete renovation, and indoor swimming pools has led to projects across much of Norway. Viking Entreprenør is dedicated to quality and sustainability in its daily operations.

The acquisition of Viking Entreprenør is a key element of Corteco’s strategy for establishing a robust market position in Norway. Stratema assisted Corteco on its acquisition of A. Hansen Gruppen AS, a quality-conscious and renovation-focused company with a strong position in the roofing and sheet metal working market, in December 2023. A. Hansen Gruppen and Viking Entreprenør will complement each other and provide a strong platform for further growth now that they are joining forces.

Viking Entreprenør had revenues of NOK 210 million in 2023, with robust profitability. Following this acquisition, the Corteco portfolio is comprised of 13 companies, of which 11 are based in Sweden and 2 are based in Norway, with total revenues of about SEK 1.5 billion.
