Reledo acquires Magnat Kaffehus, Kaffeknappen and Scandinavian Taste

Reledo is strengthening its position in Norway through the acquisition of Magnat Kaffehus, Kaffeknappen and Scandinavian Taste – three leading providers of coffee solutions to the corporate market, as well as the hotel, restaurant and café segments.

Through this acquisition, Reledo is establishing a strong platform in the Norwegian coffee market with a wide range of coffee machines, coffees, teas and related ingredients, as well as servicing and maintenance services.

The three companies hold strong positions in their respective segments and complement each other well. Kaffeknappen is a recognised supplier to the corporate market, Magnat Kaffehus is known for its focus on quality, coffee experiences and innovative solutions, whilst Scandinavian Taste has a strong market position in the hotel, restaurant and café segment (HoReCa).

All companies are headquartered in Oslo and serve customers throughout Norway. These businesses have about 90 employees in total and a broadly diversified customer base. Together, the companies generate approximately NOK 205 million in revenue, with profitability exceeding 10%.

The acquisition is an important step in Reledo’s strategy to become the Nordic region’s leading provider of quality workplace solutions. The transaction strengthens the group’s offering in coffee and beverage solutions, while giving the three companies access to Reledo’s network, resources and platform, thereby poising them for further growth.

Magnat Kaffehus, Kaffeknappen and Scandinavian Taste have built strong market positions over many years through high quality, close customer relationships and a clear focus on service and innovation. Combined, they form a leading provider of coffee solutions in Norway, with a comprehensive product range and nationwide presence.

Following the acquisition, Reledo comprises more than 30 companies with combined revenues in excess of NOK 2.5 billion, an EBIT margin of over 10 percent and more than 2,000 employees. The group is a leading Nordic platform for quality workplace solutions and continues its growth journey through the acquisition of resilient entrepreneur-driven businesses.
