With great expertise in technical consultancy, Stratema has advised Rejlers AB in acquiring 100% of the shares of Energy and Industry knowledge experts Solvina AB.
For Stratema it`s been important to find the optimal fit to contribute to Rejler`s growth strategy and enhance the company’s position in the expanding technical consulting market within the energy sector. The acquisition of Solvina strengthens Rejlers’ position within the energy sector by offering expertise and specialized knowledge in electrical power and energy production facility operations, particularly within the growing area of nuclear power.
The union between the two companies is characterized by a shared DNA of competence, knowledge, and a commitment to continuous learning, making them a natural fit from the very first meeting.
Throughout the acquisition process, there has been a genuine effort to deeply understand each other, explore synergistic business opportunities, and foster a spirit of enjoyment and collaboration. This approach ensures the basis for good cooperation and provides conditions for exciting prospects and mutual growth in the future.
This acquisition represents the first instance where Stratema has provided advisory services to Rejlers in Sweden. Nonetheless, we have fostered a longstanding partnership with Rejlers and hold significant expertise in advising them within the Norwegian market.
Solvina was founded in 1997 and has approximately 25 employees located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company’s core business focuses, from a holistic perspective, on electrical power engineering, control engineering, and engineering management, serving clients such as energy companies, industrial firms, network owners, and facility owners. Services include investigations, analyses, testing, training, and consultancy aimed at improving clients’ facilities and operations. Solvina also has operations in India, which, however, are not part of the acquisition.
Rejlers was founded in 1942 and is one of the leading consulting engineering firms in the Nordics. With specialized expertise, they assist businesses, public authorities, and other organizations in addressing tomorrow’s societal challenges. Their services are crucial building blocks for achieving a sustainable society and their success is built on their ability to continuously embrace new knowledge. Operating in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates, Rejlers has 3300 experts in technological areas such as energy, industry, infrastructure, and real estate. In 2023, the company had a turnover of 4.1 billion Swedish kronor, and its B-shares are listed on the Mid Cap, Nasdaq Stockholm.
