Stratema has advised IMTAS on their sale to Nordic Industrial Solutions, a part of EQVA ASA.

Nordic Industrial Solutions (“NIS”), which is a part of the listed industrial conglomerate EQVA ASA, has entered into a partnership agreement with IMTAS, a leading service and project provider within the industries of construction, aquaculture, and energy. The strategic partnership is based on a well-grounded industrial rationale between two complementary industrial players.

About IMTAS
IMTAS is a complete supplier within engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance. They deliver everything from small and simple service tasks to complex turnkey projects. IMTAS is a reliable and value-creating company for employees, partners, and customers. The company, established by Johannes Sandhei in 2006, had a turnover of ~450 MNOK and an EBITDA of ~40 MNOK in 2024. IMTAS is headquartered in Mo i Rana and with offices in Harstad, Bodø, Lovund, Sleneset and Gardermoen.

Industrial partnership
IMTAS and NIS have entered a partnership that leverages their complementary deliveries and will together offer a broader service portfolio, as well as more customized solutions to their customers. Geographically, the companies complement each other well and create a strong and nationwide presence, strengthening NIS’s position as a leading industrial player in Norway.

IMTAS will continue to operate as an independent entity, maintaining its brand and offices in Mo i Rana and Harstad, with support from NIS’s resources and strategic network.
