Multiconsult takes ownership of the consulting firm Roar Jørgensen AS in Hønefoss. This acquisition heralds a stronger focus on an exciting geographical market where Multiconsult has not previously had an office.

Roar Jørgensen AS is a firm of consulting engineers based in Hønefoss. The company was established in 1985 and currently has 38 employees, whose primary areas of expertise are land use, architecture, fire protection engineering, structural engineering and project management. The company is forecast to have revenues of about NOK 60 million, with EBIT of NOK 13 million.

Both Multiconsult and Roar Jørgensen AS serve private and public sector customers throughout Norway. The customer portfolios of the companies present clear synergies, and the acquisition will offer Roar Jørgensen AS personnel greatly expanded opportunities in terms of joint interdisciplinary projects.
