Xpert Installasjon Joins the Currentum Group

The acquisition strengthens Currentum’s offerings in Norway, particularly in the electrical and telecommunications sectors. By integrating Randem & Hübert for ventilation services and Askim & Mysen Rør along with Veas Rør for plumbing, Currentum is now equipped to deliver a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary installation service to its customers.

Founded in 2000, Xpert Installasjon has grown to be a major player in the installation industry, demonstrating impressive development over the years. The company currently generates an annual turnover of approximately NOK 300 million, supported by robust financial performance. Headquartered in Vestfold and employing a team of 120 highly skilled professionals, Xpert Installasjon plays a crucial role as a provider of installation services in Eastern Norway.

Stratema’s primary goal during the process was to secure the right future partner for Xpert Installasjon, that could unlock synergies and create value for the shareholders. Currentum had already acquired market-leading businesses in Norway within ventilation and plumbing, which fit perfectly with Xpert Installasjon`s electrical installation services.

Currentum comprises 70 leading installation companies across Sweden, Norway, and Finland. With a workforce exceeding 2,500 employees, the group has an annual revenue of around NOK 6,4 billion. Currentum is owned by Axcel, a Nordic private equity firm with three decades of experience in building market leaders. Axcel has established seven funds, amassing over €4.1 billion in committed capital from both Nordic and international investors, and presently holds ownership of 21 corporate groups across the Nordic region.

The companies within Xpert-Installasjon will continue to be managed by their existing leadership teams, maintaining strong local roots, but now with the exciting opportunities that come with being part of a larger group.
