Braathe Gruppen AS has acquired 100% of the shares in Itum AS, with the transaction effective as of March 1, 2019. This acquisition aligns with Braathe Gruppen’s strategic objectives for further growth and expansion within the Norwegian Cloud and IT services market.

Both Itum and Braathe Gruppen have long been providers of such services to the corporate market. The companies offer both overlapping and complementary service portfolios, which will benefit the customers of both companies.

Following the acquisition of Itum, Braathe Gruppen will have more than 105 employees and an annual turnover of approximately NOK 275 million. Braathe Gruppen has been providing IT infrastructure, consulting, and operational services, as well as cloud services such as Server Hosting (IaaS) and ASP Desktop (SaaS), since the late 1980s. Today, the company has offices and modern data centers in Rygge and Oslo, with its headquarters located in Rygge.

Stratema advised Braathe Gruppen.
