– The working environment and culture at Stratema are fantastic

Zara Hosseinpoor joined Stratema on 1st May 2024, having previously worked as a transaction advisor in M&A.

 

“I have always been excited by M&A, and when I was approached about the position at Stratema, I was enthusiastic about the opportunity. I looked forward to working through the entire lifecycle of a transaction, from start to finish.

As an analyst at Stratema, I primarily engage in analysis, financial modelling, and valuation for various projects. I also participate in sales meetings and discussions with clients. One of the most exhilarating aspects of the job is participating in various phases of a transaction.

My background has equipped me with a solid understanding of accounting and technical skills, enabling me to streamline and enhance our processes. A skill I have definitely refined is the ability to balance diving into details with the capacity to present material in a clear and educational manner.

Although I am relatively new to the company, I have already experienced a strong sense of team spirit within the group. The environment encourages sharing ideas and discussing matters with colleagues, and I have felt included and welcomed from the very start.

My department specialises in transactions within the construction and infrastructure industry. I appreciate that we are specialists rather than generalists, as this allows us to deliver more precise valuations and provide better advisory services to our clients. Moreover, our closely-knit team across the Oslo and Stockholm offices collaborates effectively, leveraging each other’s strengths.

I’m excited about the future and diving into more transactions and continuing to grow both professionally and personally at Stratema.”
