Stratema and Procano have formulated a M&A strategy going forward, which is designed to deliver on Procano’s objective of becoming the leading modern cloud service provider in Norway, and to strengthen their position around the Norwegian capital, Oslo. Procano has recently implemented a strategic reorganisation to realign its corporate focus and enhance growth. In line with this objective, Stratema has been actively presenting acquisition opportunities to Procano that align with its new strategic direction. Instant Office, with its competent management team, has expressed a desire to focus on providing premium services in the public cloud sector. This focus aligns with Procano’s core expertise, thereby positioning the acquisition of Instant Office as a synergistic move poised to enhance Procano’s offerings in this field.
Instant Office has 36 employees, with offices in Brevik and at Lysaker. Instant Office’s four employees at Lysaker will relocate to Procano’s Skøyen premises, while the Brevik office remains as is. The companies had combined revenues in excess of NOK 63 million in 2013, with pre-tax profits of NOK 10.5 million. Jørgen Berg will remain CEO of Procano. Christian O. Breivik, current CEO of Instant Office AS, will become Deputy CEO of the merged entity.
“We are now taking steps to create a platform where our lack of scale is no longer an objection to potential customers. But most important of all, our customers and partners will consider this a great advantage: we are the ICT supplier for the future!”
Jørgen Berg, the founder of Procano AS
