Decisive had secured a commanding presence in the rule-based decision automation niche in the Norwegian public sector. In collaboration with Stratema, the company recognised a notable disparity between the Swedish and Norwegian markets and identified an opportunity to enter Sweden. Stratema conducted a thorough search and pinpointed several potential partners that could aid Decisive in gaining access to major private and public institutions on a global scale. Addnode emerged as an especially compatible match, with services that complemented Decisive’s offerings and an expansive network. Moreover, Addnode’s service range offered scope for upselling to Decisive’s existing clients.
“Decisive is the Process Management division’s first acquisition in Norway. The company’s digital rule-based decision management system solutions are an excellent fit with our division’s existing offering. We have a strong market position in Sweden and see extensive scope for new cross-border collaboration. Together, we can create additional value for our customers”, says Andreas Wikholm, Division Manager Process Management at Addnode Group.
Decisive is specialised in rule-based decision support systems and assists its customers throughout the process from systems design to development, implementation and training, as well as subsequent support and refinement. The company was established in 2003 by its current CEO and is headquartered in Oslo. Some examples of Decisive’s major long-term customers are the Norwegian Directorate of Health, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration and the Norwegian Tax Administration. The company has 25 employees and revenues of about SEK 57 million.
Addnode Group acquires, operates and develops entrepreneur-driven companies that provide software and digital services to markets in which the group have or can achieve a leading position.
Decisive will form part of Addnode Group’s Process Management division and will be consolidated with effect from 1 June 2022.
