Part of Stratema since 2024

John is currently in his final year at Stockholm University, pursuing his Master of Science in Finance. He brings a strong academic background from Umeå School of Business Economics and Statistics, where he specialised in advanced financial statements, valuations, and corporate finance. In parallel with his studies, John will be a part of of our tech team at our Stockholm office until spring 2025.

John has already gained a lot of experience, having worked part-time as an Audit Associate at KPMG, where he contributed to the Quality Assurance team and delivered high-quality audits. His experience also includes a full-time audit internship at KPMG, handling financial audits for companies and housing cooperatives. Additionally, John served as Financial Manager at AdviceX AB, where he managed the company’s financial and accounting duties. Furthermore, during his studies, he was part of the Financial Management team at the student association (HHUS), where their fund has outperformed the benchmark index, OMXSPI, for the past three years.

Known for his effective work style and attention to detail, John is also recognised for his social nature and great team spirit. In his free time, John stays active by hitting the gym, running, and hiking. He also loves to travel and has a deep interest in financial markets and stocks, which he follows closely.
