Stratema ranked 2nd by number of transactions in Norway in 2022
Stratema completed 16 M&A transactions in Norway in 2022. It was thereby ranked 2nd by number of transactions, only behind ABG Sundal Collier, with 19 transactions. DNB Markets and Arctic Securities were ranked joint 3rd, with 14 transactions each.
Stratema had a busy 2022, with large individual transactions such as the acquisitions of Konstel, Tessta Connect, Utleiesenteret and Nextron, as well as the combination, for Credo Partners, of several commercial interior companies to form the Inredo group.
A major part of the transactions were acquisition engagements for listed companies such as Vitec AB, Transtema AB, Rejlers AB and Fasadgruppen AB. In addition, Stratema acted for a number of PE companies and their subsidiaries, such as Intera Partners/Renta OY, Credo Partners/Inredo and Klar Partners/Nimlas Group AB.
The market was very strong in 2022, but was affected by more challenging funding conditions in the second half. However, access to funding appears to be reverting to normal already at the beginning of 2023.
