Nordic Tech M&A Outlook Report Q4-2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the technology industry maintained a steady pace with 87 transactions, in line with the preceding quarter. On an annual basis, the number of transactions was 348, slightly lower than in 2022 but significantly higher than in 2019 and 2018.

The valuation for private mergers and acquisitions in the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector in the Nordic region has witnessed minimal reductions since the historical peak during 2020/2021, driven by increased competition for SaaS and significant amounts of available capital in the market.​
