ECIT AS has entered into an agreement to acquire 50.1% of the shares in Evercom, a leading player in a rapidly changing market for audiovisual solutions for the public sector in Norway. The current Evercom shareholders will continue their journey as co-owners of the company with 49,9% of the shares.

Evercom has through its recent partnership with ECIT gained a strategic partner that not only has an in-depth understanding of its business, but also has the expertise and resources required to assist it with the exploration of new markets and the expansion of its service range for both existing and future customers.

The current Evercom shareholders will continue their journey as co-owners of the company, and will retain a role in shaping the future of Evercom alongside ECIT. This means management continuity and a shared vision for developing and growing the business.

The acquisition places ECIT at a significant advantage in the provision of IT services to the public sector market in Norway. The increased presence and expertise provided by Evercom will serve to position ECIT as a preferred supplier in the region.

ECIT ASA is a leading provider of IT services and digital solutions, with a broad portfolio ranging from IT infrastructure to business applications. The company is known for its expertise, customer-centric approach and ability to adapt to customer needs. Evercom AS is an audiovisual solutions specialist, with a strong public sector presence.
